Educational Program
Monday’s educational program will be composed of a number of presentations from graduate students and young professionals. Presentations will be given inside the UBC AMS floating auditorium.
Intermittent Water Supply Workshop
Climate change is drastically effecting water supplies around the globe. In the face of new patterns in the water cycle societies will have to adapt their water management strategies. This workshop will encourage participants to work with young professionals to brainstorm solutions for unique case studies from around the world.
Wine and Cheese Networking Event and Poster Session
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to network amongst themselves, industry professionals, and UBC staff and faculty that work in the water and environment fields. Research posters will also be on display during this event, giving students and young professionals the opportunity to discuss their research with a diverse audience.
Tuesday June 12th
Educational Program
Tuesday’s educational program will follow the same format as Monday’s program.
Industry Panel
The topic for our panelists will focus on energy and resource recovery from wastewater. The panelists are to be decided.
Closing Dinner & Awards
The conference’s closing dinner will be held Tuesday evening; the location is to be decided.
